Our Money, Our Community, Our Environment
Dear Friend of the Green Party,
In the last two decades, the New Democrats, Conservatives and Liberals have taken Ontario from having one of the strongest economies in the country to a have not province with more than $200 billion in debt. Hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs have disappeared while middle class citizens are taxed to the breaking point.
The Green Party’s policies were developed by people like you for a stronger, cleaner, healthier place to live. These policies weren’t guided by the hand of the aggregate or development industries, unions or other vested interests. There are no gimmicks or giveaways.
Our platform (www.gpo.ca) focuses on the long term. Our top priority is job creation in sustainable industries to stabilize our economy, protect our environment, support our farmers, provide safe affordable energy, and promote access to quality health care and life styles.
We are the only party that can bring about change. In a June 2011 voter poll*, 29% of randomly selected Dufferin-Caledon respondents said they would vote for the Green Party.
Our time has come! We have the MOMENTUM, the motivated PEOPLE and the strongest PLATFORM. I bring municipal council experience, and am the elected Deputy Leader of the Green Party of Ontario. Having lived in both rural and small towns in this riding for 22 years, I understand the diversity of Dufferin-Caledon. I am free from the influence of vested interests. I am the candidate who will represent your best interests, always.
We can win!! Getting our message out to voters requires funding. You can make the difference. We will never compromise our integrity by accepting donations from corporations, unions or special interest groups. Ours is a grass roots party requiring grass roots support.
Visit www.dcgreens.ca to donate or volunteer. The supporter form found on the reverse of this letter details the tax credits of up to 75%. A $200 donation only costs $50.
