Dufferin-Caledon provincial candidates pitch new ideas about commitment to post-secondary students
(Jennifer Alvarez, Humber EtCetera)
“Dufferin-Caledon Green Party candidate Rob Strang said his party is also invested in students.
“We would impose a tuition cap for the 2012-2013 academic year and tie that to the inflation rate,” he said. “That way, students can plan and predict. The whole party is about planning for the future. Maybe our plans aren’t so catchy at times, but we’re talking about sustainability.”
Strang also said supporting apprenticeship programs is a priority for the party.”
